Are you a pharmaceutical compliance professional looking to take your regulatory career to the global stage? Roche, one of the world’s largest biotech and pharmaceutical companies, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support drug registration and compliance across international markets.
This opportunity is based in Basel, Switzerland, with full Swiss work permit support for international applicants.
About the Role
You will be part of Roche’s Regulatory Affairs team, responsible for managing end-to-end regulatory strategy, ensuring timely submissions, and maintaining compliance across product lifecycles in multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers for new drug applications and post-marketing activities
Liaise with health authorities (Swissmedic, EMA, FDA, etc.) to support product approvals
Monitor global regulatory changes and provide strategic compliance guidance
Collaborate with R&D, clinical, safety, and quality assurance teams
Maintain regulatory databases and document management systems
Support audits, inspections, and corrective action planning
Ideal Candidate Profile
Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Regulatory Affairs (Master’s/PhD preferred)
5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs
Deep understanding of ICH guidelines, GxP, and international regulatory frameworks
Experience with EMA, FDA, Swissmedic, or global drug submissions
Strong communication and organizational skills
Fluent in English (German or French a plus)
Eligible for or interested in Swiss work permit sponsorship
