Role Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer at CloudLinux, you will design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a focuson automating deployments using GitLab CI/CD pipelines. You’ll drive operational excellence, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable systems while working remotely with a global team.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate software delivery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices.
Implement security measures and compliance standards for cloud environments.
Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes to enhance system reliability.

Requirements

Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
Knowledge of Linux system administration and security practices.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
