About the Role
As an AI Research Scientist at Vector, you’ll explore and develop new models, algorithms, and applications in machine learning, deep learning, and responsible AI. Your work will contribute to scientific publications, open-source tools, and real-world industry impact.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct original research in AI/ML, with a focus on deep learning, reinforcement learning, or NLP

Collaborate with other researchers, fellows, and affiliated universities

Publish in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL)

Mentor students, interns, and junior researchers

Contribute to open-source projects and responsible AI initiatives

Engage with industry and public sector partners to translate research into innovation

Ideal Candidate
PhD or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields

Strong research portfolio with publications in top AI journals/conferences

Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other ML frameworks

Experience in one or more domains: computer vision, NLP, generative models, or ethical AI

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
