COLOMBO – Cyclone Ditwah slammed into Sri Lanka’s east coast on November 28, triggering the island nation’s deadliest natural disaster in living memory. As of Monday, the confirmed death toll stands at 355, with 366 people still missing and more than 500,000 forced from their homes by massive floods and landslides.

Over 200,000 people are now living in 1,200+ emergency camps. Food, drinking water, and medicine are running short in many cut-off villages.
