Reality Star Whitney Leavitt to Make Broadway Debut as Roxie
New York, NY – December 2, 2025 – Whitney Leavitt, breakout star of Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and recent Dancing With the Stars semi-finalist, is officially heading to Broadway.
The 32-year-old mother of three will step into the iconic role of Roxie Hart in the long-running revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre, beginning February 2, 2026, for a limited six-week engagement through March 15, 2026.
Leavitt announced the news herself on social media Monday with a glamorous video set to the musical’s signature “Roxie” number. Dressed in a black mini dress and heels, she captioned the post: “Grateful beyond words to announce I will be joining Chicago the Musical as Roxie Hart. See you in New York City!”
The casting comes as little surprise to fans who watched Leavitt deliver a show-stopping “Cell Block Tango” Argentine tango with pro partner Rylee Arnold during Icons Night on Dancing With the Stars Season 34. The performance earned a near-perfect score and instantly trended nationwide, with many predicting Broadway would come calling.
Known for her infectious energy, sharp comedic timing, and millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram, Leavitt joins a long line of high-profile celebrities who have played Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning revival, including Pamela Anderson, Mel B, Ashlee Simpson, and most recently Ariana Madix of Vanderpump Rules fame.
Chicago, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse, remains the second-longest-running show in Broadway history. The sleek, sexy production continues to draw audiences with its timeless tale of fame, scandal, and “all that jazz.”
Tickets for Whitney Leavitt’s limited engagement are expected to go on sale later this month.
From reality TV drama to the Great White Way, Whitney Leavitt is proving she’s ready for her close-up — and her name in lights.
